I have some photos I took of my garden yesterday but I will save those for tomorrow. I wanted to share a set of garden signs I recently painted for a customer. She wanted them for her grand children and she let them choose the flowers. It was so fun to read each order, she gave their ages, the youngest was 3.
I wish I had a better picture of this one. The lilies were a first for me and I love how they turned out but the photo does not show them well.
I really should’ve taken a close up of them but I was in a hurry.
Coco chose lilies, red rose and a peony.
Rio, I assumed is a boy, he chose bluebells and peonies.
Lilah chose bluebells, lilacs and roses.
Stella (the 3 year old) wanted roses, violets and lots of color. I had meant to put the yellow flowers I added to Lilah’s on Stella’s but in the chaos of the moment switched them inadvertently.
I don’t think Stella minded. I received a sweet note from their Grandmother that they all loved them.
This was a fun group to paint, I had not painted peonies before or the lilies so it pushed my boundaries a bit.
We have a full weekend ahead. I will share my latest blooms in my garden as I can. I also had a sweet surprise from my chickens.
Until then…may your days be filled with sunshine and sweet blossoms.
Feel free to come see what I have been up to in the studio!
