Good evening everyone. I should be putting my latest signs up on my website but I am not in the mood for the work it takes. Putting up the photos, resizing them to fit in the tables, make up the PayPal buttons and writing out the descriptions, it all is more than I want to do tonight, though it does need doing. Oh well, I can do it tomorrow afternoon.
I will just share them with you all for now. First, this one is a special order sign and won’t go on my website.
I was not certain the blue on blue would work when the gentleman who ordered the sign said that was what he wanted but it worked out fine after all. That is one thing I like about special orders, the customers challenge me and push me out of my comfort zones.
This hen house sign was ordered by a gentleman a few months ago but I have not heard from him since so it will go up on the website. If you would like the chance to win this Hen House sign click this link..Blogging Milestone
A Daisy Garden sign, burnt umber lettering, a bit of tinted glaze hand rubbed in for a rustic look.
A new Laundry sign in coastal colors. A bit of antiquing on this one too, the tinted glaze rubbed into the crackles gives it a well worn feel.
This one is painted on an old board, sanded down a bit to rough it up.
I was into painting Daisies this week for some reason. Another garden sign.
I moved on to pink roses and lavender for this one. Garden signs are some of my best selling items and I am in the mood to paint garden themes. Spring fever, I guess.
Well, thanks to all you fabulous folks out there I am nearly to 100 followers! We need to celebrate. I am trying to think of a giveaway to commemorate this auspicious moment! A custom family name sign?? A choice of sign from my website? …. I am not sure yet….
Until next post…Ta ta…Pamela

ReplyDeleteOkay, I got my story straight :) I stopped over from Tatertots and Jello! I love your signs. The hen one would be perfect for my sister-in-laws kitchen...only problem she doesn't have the wall space. It sure is cute though!

ReplyDeleteOh, Pam, that's the truth, isn't it - all the work involved in uploading pics? I still haven't got everything caught up. I'd much rather just paint. But then photos, descriptions, all the photo sites, blech!
ReplyDeleteAre you getting rain today? I think we're finally a ways below the snowline! Hope you are too ;)

ReplyDeleteA RED-LESS DAY?
“Oh, my goodness, oh, my dear!
Don’t you think it’s very clear
That a red-less day’s a drag?”
